IMPORTANT:New Zealand is divided into 6 Rotary Districts and you apply to the District within which you live.
To apply via this website, applicants must live in Rotary District 9920 which covers eastern Auckland from south of the harbour bridge down to, and including Tuakau as detailed in the following map.

If you have determined that you DO reside in Rotary District 9920 per the above maps and you wish to apply for a Rotary Youth Exchange then complete the Initial Application form and also send us your contact details, Date of birth, and school via the "Contact Us" page
1. Initial Application Form:
Download and complete an Initial Application Form. You can download here: INITIAL APPLICATION FORM
Make sure you also read the "Information" pages on this website. Applications for January departure close on the 30 April.
Please include with your application a scanned copy of the details page of your passport.
PRIVACY: Every student and their parent(s) who complete the initial application consent to the collection of personal information (including a confidential school reference and reference checking with the applicants specified references) concerning the applicant for the purpose of applying for acceptance as a Rotary International Exchange Student and consent to the disclosure of all information in the initial and full application forms to Rotarians, potential host families, Rotary Clubs and Rotary District Committees both in New Zealand and overseas.
Applicants should contact their nearest Rotary Club and ask that club to sponsor their application which is then sent to the District Exchange Committee.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All applicants must attend the live in Selection Weekend which runs from Friday to Sunday on a designated weekend in May. Parents must attend the Sunday sessions. For the dates refer to the "Future Events" page within the "Students" section of our website.

2. Full Application Form:
The Full Application Form must only be downloaded and completed by applicants that have attended selection weekend AND have been directed by the Rotary Exchange committee to complete the Full Application Form. The Full Application Form can be downloaded here: FULL APPLICATION FORM You must also print the Guidelines at the link below.
